The Institute of Statistics offers integrated master’s courses in occupational psychology, computer science and mathematics, as well as a master’s degree in statistics.
Its research focuses on finite population sampling, with recent work on nonresponse, spatial sampling, wage inequality from survey data, continuous sampling and Gaussian random fields.
The institute maintains an active collaboration with the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) and regularly receives mandates from public and private companies, reinforcing its involvement in the professional and institutional world.
The Master of Science in Statistics program is closed to new students until further notice.
